Decorated Soccer Balls Donation by Nicolette Iribarne
A good leg will fail, a straight back will stoop; a black beard will turn white, a curled pate will grow bald; a fair face will wither; a full eye will wax hollow: but a good heart, such as Nicolette Iribarne, is the Sun shine and the not the moon; for it shines brighter and never changes, and keeps its course truly. UCSB freshman Nicolette Iribarne played on soccer teams for eight years of her life in her home town of Mission Viejo. She has also played as a Midfielder or forward in faraway places like Brazil, Thailand and Spain.
Over the years, through her Futbol 4 Refugees program, Nicolette Iribarne has sent about 800 soccer balls to disadvantaged kids across the globe.Today she is sending 65 soccer balls to Limbe,Cameroon through the United States Postal Service (USPS).She brightly colours the balls with messages of friendship before sending them out to children. Nicolette is assisted by her friends, her sister Gabriela, family, LAGUNA HILLS HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER TEAMS and STUDENTS and companies like Reebok, Vizari Sport (USA), and local teams who donate soccer balls. We thank Nicolette, her friends, family and all those who assisted her in one way or the other to make this donation a success.
Nicolette You are always Welcome to Limbe, Cameroon. We thank you for your assistance and support to our project "Community Development through Soccer".
